Samsung used its own Exynos 4 Quad-Core Processor for the Galaxy S3, and a quad-core chip unsurprisingly. It’s clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz and it is based on an ARM Cortex A9 Arch.
The Galaxy S4 outdoes with an extreme Exynos 5 Octo-Core Processor which Samsung announced in CES. It is the first smartphone on the earth which boast an 8-Core Chip. It consist of four cortex A15 core which are clocked at 1.6 GHz for the super-stunning performance and other 4 are cortex A7 which are clocked at 1.2 GHz for less power saving and demanding tasks.
The RAM of the Galaxy S4 is also increased from 1 GB to 2 GB so we are expecting that it is ace our benchmarks.
Samsung was generous with a storage option on the Galaxy S3 similar to iPhone with an option of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with an option of Micro SD card. This situation is not changed in Galaxy S4 so you don’t have to worry about it.
Cameras Difference between S3 and S4
The Galaxy S3 is having an 8 MP camera that was fairly good in 2012, only few handsets had such a camera at that time. But the new Samsung Galaxy S4 got an amazing 13 MP rear facing camera with a 2.1 MP front facing camera. It is higher than Galaxy S3’s 1.9 MP but the important thing is that it can record video in Full HD 1080p.
Software and Battery
The Galaxy S3 was launched with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean running right out of the box and with up-to-date apps, but the Galaxy S4 is loaded with the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean which is a new version for smartphones.
Galaxy S4 possesses battery larger than Galaxy S3 that is, S4 has a 2600mAh battery as compared to Galaxy S3’s 2100 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S4 vs. Galaxy S3 is not a small question! We have always seen that a newer smartphone is always better than its predecessor but in this case both of them look quite competing. It is something like saying Batman vs. Iron-Man.
However, S4 does beat S3 in the specification battle and disply quality but its high price and a not so new design are its drawbacks.
